About Ohana Care
Ohana means family — and to us, it means meeting every participant as a whole person, not a plan number.
Ohana Disability Care is an NDIS provider based in Melbourne supporting participants across Victoria. We service participants who want dedicated care, delivered with a person-centred approach. We embrace people living with disabilities and believe they are important members of our community — and should be treated as such.
The term ohana means family. To us, that means connecting with each individual and supporting one another through a healthy partnership. Our participants are our priority and their care is our responsibility. We want them to feel heard and understood. We work closely with each participant — and where they want, with their family — to understand their needs and goals.
We embrace participants from diverse backgrounds and have support workers from various cultures who can provide appropriate care. We want our participants to be comfortably cared for and understood.
The best support feels like family — patient, respectful, and present.
What guides us
Our values, in practice.
Rooted
Our care is consistent and dependable. We hold steady through every season.
Warm
We meet people where they are, with unguarded warmth — like family who already know you.
Honest
No clinical distance, no marketing varnish. Just truth, kindly told.
Roots, branches, leaves
Growing toward
the same light.
We are roots, branches, and leaves growing toward the same light. Different shapes, different journeys — held together by what we share.
That belief shows up in the small things: how we listen, how we plan, how we stay through the unglamorous days. It's the kind of care that takes years to grow and minutes to feel.
